Summer Workshop Camp: Krzyżowa 2025

A Summer Workshop Camp for Romani Youth and Civil Society Organizations from the Visegrad Group Countries

In the second half of August 2025, the International Youth Meeting Center in Krzyżowa, Poland, will host the next edition of the Summer Workshop Camp — a week-long educational and empowerment program for Romani youth from Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, and Hungary. As in previous years, the camp will bring together 24 participants — young women and men — selected by partner organizations from the Visegrad Group countries.

The Summer Workshop Camp is designed to strengthen the social skills of young Roma and to foster long-term cooperation among civil society organizations working with minority communities. Participants will take part in interactive workshops and lectures focused on the situation of Roma in the V4 countries and the role of NGOs in promoting inclusion and equal opportunities.

The workshop program was jointly developed by four partner organizations:

  • Fundacja Dom Kultury (Poland – project leader)
  • Vzájemné soužití o.p.s. (Czech Republic)
  • ETP Slovakia (Slovakia)
  • Khetanipe Romano Centro (Hungary)

The camp in Krzyżowa offers not only a chance to build practical skills and knowledge but also a space for intercultural dialogue, solidarity, and the development of international partnerships focused on youth empowerment and Roma inclusion.

The Summer Workshop Camp: Krzyżowa 2025 is supported by the International Visegrad Fund.

The project is co-financed by the Governments of Czechia, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia through Visegrad Grants from International Visegrad Fund. The mission of the fund is to advance ideas for sustainable regional cooperation in Central Europe.
