We would like to invite you to the third edition of the Wandering Festival „Romani Kultura”, which will take place on the 18th of June 2023 in Wroc\u0142aw.<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The Wandering Festival „Romani Kultura” wanders around Poland and is a platform for presenting the most interesting artistic and cultural achievements of Roma communities from different regions of the country. This year it has made its way to Wroc\u0142aw. Creative workshops will be held by artists and cultural animators from Wroc\u0142aw and Legnica. The programme includes, among other things, painting workshops, art workshops for children, a jazz concert and jam session, a panel discussion on Roma culture in Lower Silesia and a presentation of selected collections from the Museum of Roma Culture in Warsaw.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Programme<\/strong><\/p>\n

11.00 – 15.00<\/strong> inclusive painting workshops led by artists Krzysztof Gil and Noemi \u0141akatosz<\/p>\n

15.00 – 17.00<\/strong> art workshops for children, run parallel to other events by kindergarten teacher and art education teacher Jadwiga Tomczuk<\/p>\n

15.00 – 16.00<\/strong> lecture and multimedia presentation by Andrzej Grzyma\u0142a-Kaz\u0142owski on Roma culture in the Lower Silesian Voivodship over the centuries – based on his collection from the Museum of Roma Culture in Warsaw<\/p>\n

16.00 – 17.00<\/strong> panel discussion on the situation of the Roma community in Wroc\u0142aw and Lower Silesia
\nand the state of Roma culture in the area, to be attended by:
\n– Maria \u0141\u00f3j, Roma activist, retired teacher supporting the education of Roma children
\n– Roksana Stojowska, Roma education assistant and activist
\n– Joanna Panciuchin PhD Roma Studies at the Institute of Cultural Studies, University of Wroclaw
\n(moderation)
\n– Dariusz Tokarz, Voivodship Inspector at the Department of Civil Affairs and Foreigners at the Lower Silesian Voivodship Office in Wroc\u0142aw<\/p>\n

17.00 – 18.00<\/strong> musical \u201cfeast\u201d: concert of musicians Wiktor and Miros\u0142aw Dymitrak<\/p>\n

18.00 – 19.00<\/strong> jam session – joint playing of Miros\u0142aw and Wiktor Dymitrak – jazz and gitanswing.<\/p>\n

During the festival we will be presenting a slide show of Andrzej Grzyma\u0142a-Kaz\u0142owski’s graphics from his collection from the Museum of Roma Culture in Warsaw.
